This is where all the stuff Sly creates or uses for Roleplay purposes goes. To any of you out there that have suggestions or corrections to make, send me a PM if you can and if not just post in here.
Some corrections to myths will not be used because I will embellish a bit on the actual myths and use my modified versions.
Sly's Place:
This is where Sly's Bar/Home will be described.
As it is in Doctor Who, Sly's place is small on the outside, but big on the inside.
On the exterior, there is a small broken down carriage that appears as if the earth itself is reclaiming it already, despite having a nice finish look to the wood of it. A door hangs upon steel hinges with a sliding view hole that slides to the left from the inside.
Not much else is out of place or seems extraordinary on the outside aside from a feeling of pacifism. Fists never feel as though they truly can clench, but you can still get angry at even the notion of this not working.
On the inside, however, is a whole different story.
Once inside, the scenery changes so drastically that it makes a first timer dizzy just from a logical standpoint. When you step inside, you are immediately greeted by three sights to behold in wonder. A ceiling that extends beyond the realms of 15 feet from eye level, steep stairs that lead down another 30 feet to the main bar and dance room, and a Bogle that watches with no eyes.
Let me start with the last mentioned. This particular Bogle is a rare one indeed. It refuses to change forms to match your nightmarish fears. Instead, it maintains a black suit with a bright red neck tie, black slick pants, and its face is nonexistent. Some in the mundane world called this particular boogeyman, "The Slender Man". But not to worry. He doesn't hurt anyone who doesn't deserve it, as he is bound by ancient laws and pacts that he cannot harm the innocent, but the guilty are never to return when this bouncer decides to make a move.
The Ceiling is wide and has many mismatched and misplaced chandeliers hanging from its heights. Though, staring up into the ceiling itself is a true wonder. It looks like a starry night sky and the stars rotate as though the world is plunged into a perpetual night landscape of sparkling diamond brilliance. Though from the chandeliers often hang cages where often youthful souls go into and others of a more degenerate nature place bids on them or buy them outright for a much higher cost.
As you go down into this scene, it appears as though it were a common nightclub. Illuminated tiles of light that changes often, two small bars to the left and right, one long bar directly in front of the stairs. A DJ booth is located atop the long bar where a muse is made to play all sorts of different songs, depending on the season and kind of night. Often, upbeat songs are heard and all manner of creatures are dancing, feeding, drinking, and generally letting go of all that troubles them. The air is sticky with heavy breathing and perspiration, but Sly relies on the energy output of all the emotions that also seems to linger.
When you feel as though you have to see Sly himself, he is always in hiding in his personal hole. It is rumored you have to ask the right person or already know where to look to find him. The floor is entirely illuminated, save for one spot. But as the floor changes its lights to match the beats and tunes, it's hard to spot at times.
