Because I have an idea swirling in my head. And really, it's all fun... :3
If I contribute to the plot, I'd like to just offer up some rouge entities ((Namely the Bogles) that can start wreaking havoc upon the lands.
Their purpose:
Simply by inciting fear and chaos among the island.
The cause:
My character will summon many creatures, and the bogles (aka: Boogeymen) are sent out to do some recon and bring back valuables to him. The further they leave behind Sly, the more sentient they become and less robotic, until they completely break free and are then free to run around.
The solution:
They can easily be dispelled by simply not fearing them. There is always, of course, the more violent manner of which to dispatch any creature, but not fearing them takes more courage than many realize.
The setup for threads:
I can provide text where they start popping up, but each character jumping in and getting involved would have to develop their character a little further with up to 3 or more fears.

We're both from Siler City, thesoliloquyman and I. He's actually my fiance. We swung through Pittsboro yesterday ~
