Name:
Sly
Species:
Changeling turning Full Fae (Already more powerful than most)
Alignment:
Neutral Evil
Age:
Unknown even to Himself
Gender:
He/Him/Male
Appearance:
Dark fur with a snout much akin to a anthropomorphic coyote. Often wears ragged modern business attire, but has been known to strip himself if the notion takes him. His raw power seems to make the air shimmer like water with even slight movements seemingly to warp reality. Often, as Fae magicks prevent others from seeing him as a beastly creature, he seems human or whatever "normal" tends to be, but the shimmering air always gives him away.
Personality:
Sly causes chaos in controlled ways in the sense that he's a businessman. He will never sell you junk (unless the buyer is dumb enough to take junk) and is bound by Fae honesty. He will bend his words to attempt deception, but this isn't what he's like, is it? He values happy thoughts and precious memories or items you are sentimentally inclined to keep. His greatest virtue is that he's charitable at times when he feels as though his human side has been touched, but his greatest vices are his greed and envy which he indulges in frequently (if you couldn't tell). He is childish and naive and will be heard singing children's lullabies or songs any childhood has heard. In his darkest, Sly is confused, his history is long and storied, but not entirely his own any longer and is more emotional than rational.
Abilities/Traits:
-Can evoke into existence the most outlandish items and specialty things just with the power of concentration of Glamour and Wyrd powers,
-Has the ability to take payment of any kind as long as it is considered at the time a fair trade,
-Has two homes made possible by his abilities to tap into the land of faerie (One large club scene and a large private "garden" and hiding hole)
-Has a large garden full of unheard-of fruits, vegetables, and mushrooms,
-Abilities to summon creatures and beings into existence, but only with a musical instrument,
-Has Claws and Fangs and impressively good hearing. Canine traits.
-He has an uncanny knack for finding, and on occasion, making faerie holes. Places to enter the Hedge are considered dangerous for all as it can lead to time travel since the laws of the Faerie Lands work differently than regular time. This form of time travel is highly unpredictable and happens in such a way as to where if you don't come out the same place you came in, time will have reversed, advanced, or you'll end up where you need to be. Sometimes, the EXACT same place takes you right back to where you were exactly when you left so that it acts as though you never left.
-Can make binding deals, pacts, and contracts via binding words and Glamour/energy expenditure which must be upheld by both parties unless the violating participant plans to take responsibility for the pending penalties involved. Penalties depend on the contracts conducted and can range from just being miserable for a day to being haunted by ghosts, and in some extreme and rare cases, death.
Disadvantages:
-He cannot abide to look at any religious paraphernalia,
-He can die by any normal means, but it takes a few more stabs or bullets,
-He can starve when not fed Glamour (raw energy from emotion or pact making),
-He has disassociative identity disorder (or multiple personalities),
-He has thump his thumbs on something three times before taking actions or speaking,
-He is a prisoner of his own paranoia and won't often venture outside his domicile,
-He cannot cross over running water willingly,
-Every time he summons a creature/person/being, weaves an item, or does anything magickal in nature, it saps his Glamour,
-He must cause general bedlam once a day,
-He doesn't suffer from Tourette's, but it certainly isn't helpful,
-Iron burns him and can kill him easily,
-Opening a Hedge is considered very dangerous for all. It welcomes unwanted things, and if not careful, you can stumble into a place you don't wish to be. See the advantages as it lists the minor inconveniences. The major downside to this is that when opening, everything seems to be drawn to it. The True Fae use these places to kidnap children and adults alike of any species or simply to wreak havoc unto an unsuspecting world. It can be closed, but it takes more Glamour and Wyrd power than many consider worth it. Though changelings on the run would more than consider it worth while.
Family:
With so many different memories, it's hard to tell what/who his family is.
Known History:
Recently he landed into the crossroads on Kelpie drawn carriage and set up shop. That's pretty much it.
Anything Else We Need to Know?:
He has multiple personalities, if OoC me does not specify in text, then it will be in bold or italics.
Bold is simply his darker side. His time spent in Arcadia gave him this dual personality he dubs, "The Big Bad Wolf".
Italics is the insinuation of his inner child trying to break free. He lacks a proper and remembered childhood, but it doesn't stop him from trying to be like Peter Pan in a sense.
If ever both Bold and Italicized, this will mean he becomes "a lost boy" which is a changeling version of his personality. Desperately clinging to the idea he was human once and wishes to return. Often, this side of him is more dangerous than any.

Entering the Land(IC):
"Well, this just sucks big fat Kelpie--!!!" Sly shouted tapping his thumb against his pants three times, as he has now found himself in between two rushing rapid rivers. "Well maybe you should have just taken that left turn in Albuquerque," Sly said in a most unusual voice, thump-thump-thumping away. "Yeah well, I wouldn't be stuck between a rock and a hard roc-ca-ca-CO-CKADOODLE-DOO!!! Anyway, what was I thinking? OH! That's right, setup, I must be prepared!"
With that, Sly rapped on his door three times and went back into his large carriage and the sound of lutes, pipes, trombone, and saxophone were heard coming from the inside. Sly was now hard at work making the newest, hippest, place in...Well, In this new particular spot he was in.
